FundsFinderNB allows you to search for unclaimed property that is held in your name. Searching for and claiming property is FREE. Below, find some tips to help you get started:
Search Tips
- Enter a surname, given name, or company name (for example, James Brown, Kilpatrick, New Brunswick Limited).
- Try different spelling variations of a name (for example Smith, Smyth, Smythe).
- For company names, try searching for acronyms, such as NB or N.B. for New Brunswick.
- Your search term must be at least two characters in length.
- Select the Search button to see your results.
- Review the search results to see if any unclaimed property may be yours.
- To make a claim, select the box to the left of each property you want to claim.
- When you have finished selecting property to claim, select the Claim Property button.
Check the CAPTCHA box to indicate that you are not using automated software.
*Note: A property value listed as “not disclosed” is a property in the form of a security, like an investment stock or bond. While these types of property have been reported to our program, they remain in the holder’s possession as is. If you are claiming a property that is displayed as “not disclosed,” we will review your claim. If your claim is validated, we will provide the holder with your current contact information so they can reconnect you with your property.
